Specific qualifications, training and experience requirements for Indigenous Certified Addictions Specialist III
To be awarded certification as an Indigenous Certified Addictions Specialist III the applicant must possess the qualifications below:
| Education | A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in the health or human services fields from an accredited college or university. | |||
| Training | Some degrees do not include all the subjects/topics required for level I (ICAS I), and level II (ICAS II), In this case, to be certified for level III (ICAS III), applicants must demonstrate they have taken training/continuing education required for level I and II. You must demonstrate that you have the required number of hours in the following topics: |

An Indigenous Certified Addictions Specialist II should possess the following qualifications in addition to those general qualifications and competencies already enumerated.
